There is still time to register your KidZ and TeenZ for an improv class at The JesterZ Training Center. The Teen class is on Tuesdays from 4-6pm and the KidZ class is on Thursdays from 4-6pm. The first teen class was on 2/2, but we are welcoming registrations up to the start of the second class on Tuesday, 2/9. The KidZ first class will be Thursday 2/11.
Check out this video that has several KidZ and TeenZ who have taken classes at The JesterZ Training Center sharing why they love it so much!
I wish they would reconsider combining the kids class & teen class showcase performance. There is such an age span difference. And their time to perform would be cut since the classes are combined. I heard that they were wanting more audience members for the showcase performances. Maybe make sure the parents know the showcase is just not for parents /immediate family. Maybe open it up to their friends (advertising. ..they might join next class) and extended family members.
My son has attended for a year now. We have really enjoyed the showcases. We were just disappointed to here they were going to combine them this year. Kids work so hard during the classes and it’s a great way for them to show what they’ve learned! Just a suggestion. We love JesterZ.
Also, I saw they added a class on Fridays for teens from 1 to 3. My son would love to attend both classes, but it’s during school hours. Just wondering why it doesn’t start later, like 3 or so, so school kids could attend. My daughter is planning on enrolling, but it’s because she is online school, but my son would love to attend also.
Thanks! Just a few thoughts!

Hi Darissa,
Thank you so much for your comments. The reason we combined the showcases is because we wanted to give the kids and teens an opportunity to see each other as that presents a great learning opportunity for them. They will absolutely still have the exact same amount of time of performance. I’m sorry that you Heard incorrect information and appreciate the opportunity to share what it will be like. Also we decided to make the showcase for kids and teens on a Saturday to afford more parents the ability to make it to the show to support their kids. All showcases are open to the public and all friends and family are encouraged to attend.
In regards to the Friday teen class in the afternoon that was set up as a specific request from a charter high school that does not have class on Fridays. I’m thrilled that one of your kids will be able to join as it is open to the public but the expectation is that it would be mostly the kids from that school. Typically we only offer one teen class per semester.
Thanks again for your feedback and kind words about the program… We love having you and your kids!
Best,
Jessica Garvar
